Millar Chiropractic - Madison AL: Services
We provide advanced spinal correction utilizing "State of the Art" chiropractic equipment Chiropractic excellence in techniques. Never in the history of chiropractic has chiropractic been able to provide the level of help and expertise that now exists. These newer correction methods are even safer, more researched, more comfortable and more effective than ever before. Our Doctors of Chiropractic, have years of training and experience in spinal adjustment.
All of our Doctors of Chiropractic have passed all four parts of the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners examination. Additionally, all of our Doctors of Chiropractic then took and passed the rigorous Alabama State Board of Chiropractic Examiners exam. Finally, all of our Doctors of Chiropractic have trained under Dr. Greg Millar, Chiropractic Physician. Dr Millar is fond of saying, "If you can't find the problem, you can't fix the problem." He believes that you "leave NO stone un-turned", when trying to find what is really the root cause of your pain or problem.
We are one of the few chiropractic offices in Madison with onsite decompression traction. Decompression traction treats herniated and bulging disc, stenosis, degenerative disc disease and many other low back and neck disc problems. Dr Millar pioneered decompression traction bringing decompression traction to Alabama in 1998. He then worked with UAB Dept of Neurosurgery on studying decompression traction and developing protocols used around the country. Dr Millar personally taught decompression techniques to our Doctors.
Even fewer clinics have Laser. All Millar Chiropractic Clinics have Laser onsite. Laser is revolutionary in its treatment of pain and inflammation. It speeds healing at the cellular level. Great for helping a low back or neck problem or should or knee or hip an on and on.
Millar Facet Table
Do you lean over the buggy when you go shopping? Are you always looking for a place to sit down for just a minute to stop your back pain? You probably have degenerative facet disease and/or stenosis. Dr Millar realized that the chiropractic profession was lacking in a good answer to these problems so with the help of the manufacture he modified a table and we call it the "Millar Facet Table." You know what? It works wonders on those facet problems.
At Millar Chiropractic you treatment will have a start date and an end date. We don't believe you need to come for life. Let's fix you problem and let you get on with life. To that end all care at Millar Chiropractic has 3 phases: relief (get you out of pain); Corrective (fix the problem); and Rehabilitative Care (make it strong so it doesn't come back). We design a Custom Rehab program just for you.
AARP - Advanced Arthritis Rebuilder Protocol for Knee Pain
The AARP protocol for treatment of arthritis of the knee was originally developed by Dr Millar at our sister company Laser Pain Center Huntsville. The program was so successful and in such high demand we moved it out to the regular chiropractic clinics like MIllar Chiropractic - Madison AL. Patients with very arthritic knees get great results from our treatment. Yes results vary but overall the results of the AARP protocol have been outstanding.
At Millar Chiropractic - Madison AL, we take great pride in providing Chiropractic Excellence to our patients. Dr Millar says, "We give Old Fashion Service with State of the Art

All our Doctors use Manual and Instrument adjusting techniques. We utilize Activator, Thompson Drop Table, Diversified, Atlas Orthogonal, CBP, Cox Flexion/Distraction, SOT, Palmer Method and many other chiropractic adjusting techniques. Our Doctors like to say "we have many adjusting tools in our toolbox. We try to use the one that will give you the patient the fastest, safest, and most thorough treatment." Dr Millar says, "using the right adjusting technique is essential. Some patients should NOT be manually adjusted. Knowing what NOT to do is sometimes as important as knowing what to do."
