Dr. Stephanie Burkett, DC is the Senior Millar Chiropractor at the Millar Chiropractic - Huntsville AL (Downtown) location. She is originally from the Phil Campbell area. She graduated with honors from University of Alabama with a bachelors of biology. She then went to chiropractic college and graduated Valedictorian of her class at Life University, College of Chiropractic. After three years in practice she moved to Germany for two years with her military husband. In Germany she could not practice as Germany do to licensing. She then returned and practiced another two years. She has been in practice a total of five years. She moved back to Alabama to be close to family. Her patients rave about her 'get to the root cause' diagnostic skills along with her kind and considerate bedside manor. She practices at the Huntsville (Downtown) location five days per week. She is a BCBS and Federal BCBS in network provider and she accepts Medicare.
Dr Stephanie likes to treat bulging and herniated disc and the radiating pain that they produce. As a Chiropractor she treats many things but she specializes in six areas: 1) Low back pain with or without leg pain, or weakness. 2) Neck pain with or without arm pain. 3) Headaches and Migraines. 4) Sciatica. 5) Joint Pain (the big joints Hips, Knees, Shoulders and the little joints elbow, wrist, hands and ankle, foot and toes). 6) Pregnant women and pregnancy issues.
Dr. Stephanie adjust both manually and activator instrument. She is well versed in many techniques for both hard tissue (the bones) and soft tissue (muscles, ligaments, tendons). She utilizes Decompression Traction, Low Level Cold Laser, E-stim, Ultra Sound, Custom Rehabilitation and exercises.
